NLPOA 34th National Training Institute and Convention

The NLPOA have reviewed and endorsed our "Tactical Spanish for Law Enforcement Officers" training course. PSLT was an exhibitor at the NLPOA 34th National Training Institute and Convention held in San Juan Puerto Rico and Alejandra addressed the delegates regarding the challenges and opportunities of dealing with non-English speaking members of the public.

With a busy schedule of training sessions and meetings we were gratified with the interest shown in our "Lead or Learn" offerings. Our latest "Spanish for Police" instructor guide enables an already bi-lingual officer to lead classroom based sessions of Spanish language training for their fellow officers. The instructor also gains from the opportunity to show leadership in addressing the constant problem of communication with non-English speaking latinos.

The local San Juan and Cataño Police department were most gracious and made all the attendees feel very welcome. We were also joined by officers of the Operaciones Tacticas, who also formed an honor guard. Here are some photos - click the images below to see a larger picture.
